What Is ELDT (Entry-Level Driver Training) Registered?
As of February 7, 2022, anyone applying for a first-time CDL or endorsement must go through a training program that meets the ELDT rules. Among other things, these rules ensure that student receive comprehensive theory and behind-the-wheel training. The Training Provider Registry shows all schools that have curriculum that meets the new ELDT rules.
All three Southwest Truck Driver Training location provide an education that meets or exceeds what the ELDT rules have outlined. You can learn more about the Southwest Truck Driver Training’s response to the ELDT rules here.
